Xiamen Airlines to Launch New and Expand Existing Manila Services

[Aviation News]   Xiamen Airlines will launch new nonstop services from Hangzhou and Chongqing to Manila starting May 20, 2026, while also increasing frequencies on its existing Xiamen–Manila and Quanzhou–Manila routes.

Following the adjustment, Xiamen Airlines’ round-trip services between the Philippines and China will increase to 44 flights per week, further enhancing connectivity between the two markets. The Philippines has introduced visa facilitation measures for Chinese travelers. The launch of new services and added frequencies to Manila will provide travelers with more options for business, tourism, and VFR travel.

New Nonstop Services

The Hangzhou–Manila route, operated under flight numbers MF8657/8658, will depart Hangzhou at 16:35 and arrive in Manila at 19:45. The return flight will depart Manila at 21:00 and arrive back in Hangzhou at 23:55. The service will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The Chongqing–Manila route, operated under flight numbers MF8647/8648, will depart Chongqing at 16:15 and arrive in Manila at 19:45. The return flight will depart Manila at 21:00 and arrive back in Chongqing at 00:30 the following day. The service will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the inaugural flight scheduled for May 21.

Increased Frequencies on Existing Routes

The Xiamen–Manila route will increase from two daily flights to three daily flights. In addition to the existing two daily services (MF827/828 and MF819/820), a new afternoon service MF8659/8660 will be added, providing morning, afternoon and evening departure options.

The Quanzhou–Manila route will increase from one daily flight to two daily flights. In addition to the existing MF817/818 service, a new daily morning service MF8739/8740 will be added, providing two daily departure options.
