Hawaiian Airlines Officially Joins Oneworld as the Third U.S. Member Carrier

[Aviation News]   On April 23, 2026, Oneworld officially welcomed a new member as Hawaiian Airlines joined the alliance, becoming the third U.S. airline to join Oneworld after American Airlines and Alaska Airlines.

With Hawaiian Airlines joining the alliance, Oneworld further strengthens its network coverage in the Pacific region and adds several leisure destinations, including Hilo, Rarotonga, Pago Pago, and Papeete, providing Oneworld customers with more travel options via Hawaii and across the Pacific.

Following the completion of the merger between Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines in 2024, Hawaiian Airlines fully migrated to Alaska Airlines’ Sabre passenger service system (PSS) on April 22, 2026, marking an important milestone in the integration process.

With the system migration completed, Hawaiian Airlines its 96-year-old “HA” IATA code was officially retired and unified under Alaska Airlines’ “AS” code.

Hawaiian Airlines operates a modern fleet of 61 aircraft, including the Airbus A330 aircraft. Following its entry into Oneworld, passengers can access the alliance’s global network of nearly 1,000 destinations and enjoy alliance benefits including priority services and lounge access.
