[Aviation News] Delta Air Lines has officially returned to the Hong Kong market with the launch of daily nonstop flights between Hong Kong (HKG) and Los Angeles (LAX) on June 8.
The inaugural DL89 flight departed Los Angeles International Airport at 11:05 p.m. on June 6 and arrived at Hong Kong International Airport in the early morning of June 8, where it was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.
The new Hong Kong–Los Angeles route is operated daily by Delta’s Airbus A350-900 and features four cabin products: Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main Cabin. Passengers traveling via Los Angeles can conveniently connect to more than 30 destinations across Delta’s domestic and international network.
