Philippine Airlines (PAL) has taken delivery of its fourth Airbus A350-1000, further advancing the carrier’s fleet modernization strategy. The aircraft, registered RP-C3513, arrived in Manila on September 2, 2026, following a delivery flight from Airbus’ production facility in Toulouse, France. It is the fourth of nine A350-1000s the airline ordered in 2023 and reinforces PAL’s position as the only operator of the type in Southeast Asia.
The Airbus A350-1000 serves as PAL’s flagship long-haul aircraft and is configured with 382 seats across three cabin classes. The aircraft features private Business Class suites with sliding doors, a dedicated Premium Economy cabin, and an upgraded Economy Class product. In addition to enhanced passenger comfort, the jet offers improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and stronger operational performance compared with older-generation aircraft.
PAL currently deploys the A350-1000 on key international routes including San Francisco, New York, and Toronto. The aircraft plays a central role in the airline’s strategy to expand long-haul connectivity while supporting growing demand for premium travel. Its arrival strengthens the carrier’s ability to operate modern, efficient services linking the Philippines with major destinations across North America and beyond.
The delivery also forms part of a broader fleet expansion plan extending into the next decade. During the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow, PAL signed agreements for nine additional A350-1000s, with rights for five more, alongside 15 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners and options for another five. These commitments highlight the airline’s confidence in future growth and its ambition to build one of the region’s most modern and fuel-efficient fleets.
