Hunnu Air Introduces E195-E2 on New Guangzhou Route, Expanding China–Mongolia Network into South China

[Press Release]   Hunnu Air has officially launched a new Ulaanbaatar–Guangzhou service, deploying the Embraer E195-E2 on the route. Following its existing services to Beijing Daxing and Sanya, Guangzhou becomes another key addition to its China network, marking a strategic extension from North China and Hainan into the South China market.

Since introducing the E195-E2 in 2025, Hunnu Air has continued to strengthen its China network. The Ulaanbaatar–Beijing Daxing route has already been increased to daily frequency, gradually forming a stable air corridor between Mongolia and China. The launch of the Guangzhou service is expected to enhance connectivity between Mongolia and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, supporting growing demand for business, tourism, and cross-border exchanges.

The E195-E2 operating this route is a next-generation narrow-body aircraft and is regarded as one of the quietest and most fuel-efficient single-aisle jets currently in service. It offers strong operational economics, enabling airlines to increase frequencies while avoiding excess capacity and maintaining yield performance. From a passenger perspective, the aircraft features a “2+2” seating configuration with no middle seats, providing more personal space, improved legroom, and larger overhead bins for a more comfortable travel experience.

The route is initially operated as a charter service and is expected to transition into scheduled operations based on market performance, offering passengers greater convenience and flexibility in the future.
