Starting August 12, Air China’s CA723/CA724 Beijing Capital–Ulaanbaatar service will be operated by the domestically produced C919 aircraft. This marks the C919’s first international commercial flight, signifying the aircraft’s official entry into international route operations.

Flight CA723 will depart Beijing Capital International Airport at 15:00 daily and arrive in Ulaanbaatar at 17:15. The return flight, CA724, will depart Ulaanbaatar at 19:00 and arrive back in Beijing at 21:05. Air China has previously operated the C919 on its Beijing Capital–Hong Kong regional route on a regular daily basis. As of now, Air China has taken delivery of 12 C919 aircraft.
The inaugural international service to Ulaanbaatar marks an important milestone in the C919’s commercial operations. Its expansion from domestic to international routes represents a key step toward the aircraft’s future global operations.
