[Aviation News] Singapore Airlines announced that it will launch a non-stop service between Hangzhou and Singapore starting June 1, 2026, with daily operations using an Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The Airbus A350-900 features a two-class layout and is equipped with 303 seats, including 40 in Business Class and 263 in Economy Class.
According to the schedule, outbound flight SQ838 will depart from Singapore Changi Airport at 17:40 and arrive at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 22:50; the return flight SQ839 will depart at 00:10 the following day and arrive in Singapore at 05:10.

With the launch of this route, Hangzhou will become the airline’s ninth destination in mainland China, forming complementary capacity with existing services operated by its subsidiary Scoot. Industry observers believe this move will further strengthen Singapore Airlines’ network presence in East China and enhance air connectivity between China and Singapore.
