On May 18, FlyArystan officially inaugurated its Yining-Almaty international route as flight FS7199 smoothly landed at Yining International Airport in Xinjiang’s Ili region. That afternoon, a grand opening ceremony was held at Yining Airport, attended by senior officials from the Ili regional government, representatives of Flying Lion Airlines, and Yining Airport management.
The “Almaty-Yining-Almaty” route marks FlyArystan’s second international route in China, following the resumption of its “Astana-Urumqi” flight on April 13, 2025. It is also the second international route launched since Yining International Airport was upgraded to handle international flights.
