Ethiopian Airlines, Air Serbia, IndiGo, TransNusa and FlyArystan Shine at ITB China 2025

From May 27 to 29, ITB China, the largest and most influential travel trade exhibition in Asia-Pacific region, was grandly held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Several international carriers including Ethiopian Airlines, Air Serbia, IndiGo, TransNusa and FlyArystan made their appearances, enriching the event with diverse aviation travel options.

Ethiopian Airlines actively promoted its extensive route network at the exhibition. Currently operating 28 weekly direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu to Addis Ababa, with convenient connections to 60 African cities, it provides Chinese travelers with seamless access to Africa. On the morning of May 28, Ethiopian Airlines jointly held a “Discover Ethiopia” tourism promotion conference with the Embassy of Ethiopia in China, showcasing the country’s rich tourism resources.

Air Serbia presented its featured routes and services, aiming to attract more Chinese visitors to experience Serbia’s unique Balkan history, culture and natural landscapes, thereby enhancing tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

IndiGo, one of India’s leading carriers, participated to demonstrate its expanding international network, particularly its growing China market connections, offering improved air services for increasing business and leisure travel between the two nations.

TransNusa, the first overseas airline operating COMAC C909 aircraft, highlighted its new routes and China market expansion plans at ITB China, committed to providing more diversified options for Chinese travelers to Indonesia and beyond.

FlyArystan introduced its route advantages and development strategies, seeking to strengthen cooperation with China’s tourism industry to attract more Chinese passengers and expand its market presence in China.
